Common Ground

Both Richard Llewellyn and Abdul Haroun have walked 31 miles through the Channel Tunnel. Llewellyn, who was Bishop of Dover at the time, walked with 117 others in Feb 1994, before the Tunnel officially opened. Haroun, from Darfur, walked through the Tunnel in August 2015, and was arrested shortly before arriving in the UK.  He has been granted asylum and is now re-building his life here.
