Opportunities at the University Of East London (UEL)

The University of East London have an exciting new initiative for refugees, asylum seekers and people with temporary leave to remain.

They say:

“UEL is now, for 2018-2019, giving SIX standalone Foundation programme fee waivers, three in Social Sciences and three in Education, Early Childhood and Community. These are for refugees, asylum seekers and people with temporary leave to remain. Please send initial enquiries to Aura Lounasmaa [email protected].

We also have three one-year Masters level fee waivers, as before – these have slightly different conditions: Please send initial enquiries to Zeyna Fall [email protected].

In addition, for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants, UEL is running a bridging course, run over 10 Saturdays, to help move people towards higher education, the Open Learning Initiative, OLIve. This programme’s next cohort starts in September. Please contact Aura Lounasmaa [email protected] for details.”
